Land Preservation
Heartland Real Estate Corporation (HREC) is highly experienced in dealing with land preservation techniques. In 1994, HREC owner/broker Jimmy Wohl was recognized for his exemplary land management and environmental stewardship efforts by the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, the Florida Cattlemen’s Association and the National Cattlemen’s Association. During a trip to New York City, he represented Florida during editorial board visits with Newsweek, Time, Life, New York Times, United Press International and the National Audubon Society to discuss environmental stewardship practices and land management in Florida. In 2009, he was asked to speak at the National Association of Conservation Districts in New Orleans at their Annual Meeting.
